comment posts to the wrong assignment

I've found that if I write a comment in assignment A, click the blue "send" icon, and then click to a different assignment (B) before the comment has been processed, the comment will be posted to assignment B, not A.

This has happened several times, so I think it is reproducible.

Chrome Version 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) on OSX 10.13.4
