I am making the third part of a project I've been working on for few years called Webs Of Power: Weave Resistance. It is a textile and performance project with coded fabrics.
I have been working for two years on research around the story of my grandfather Kazimierz Gaca. He was a Polish resistance fighter during World War II, working with the ENIGMA machine. I made fabrics with a digital Jacquard loom (TC2), where I hid codes, inspired encrypted messages, comparing the loom and the machine, both being the origin of the computer and binary code.
