For the group work, analog signal there is nothing to decode. This just a good example of Neil's step responce sensing. The sensor measures the camacitive responce of the pulses it sends and averages it over several pulses to minimize the error/fluctuation. This is also part of the the reason why the accuracy of the sensor decreases when its values are asked more frequently than the specified response time.
Link the PCB design process from the Electronics design week. Explain the programming process or link where it has been explained. You should have an original code present (your code which can be based on the example code)
