Status of the final project
Hi!
I have now moved into testing & debuggin phase:
ELECTRONICS
- powerboard is ok, all currents are fine
- motor controller (at least one side) works well, I did test it with Arduino with Firmata firmware
- ESP2866: I did test all connected GPIOs with LED. GPIO9 behaved differentlty (slow flashing) and MISO didn't work at all (I used it as spare) => Because I have connected MISO with short wire (it as additional anyway), I can move it to other place. e.g. GPIO0 and GPIO2 would be useful, also serial GPIOS (tx, rx) would be ok. Anyway, I need 7 working GPIOs (3 for motor 1, 3 for motor2, 2 ultrasonic sensor and 1 for steering servo
CONTROLS
- Mobile phone connection to car electronics works well, Blynk does measure distance and control steering servo atm.
CHASSIS and BODY
- chassis is designed by paramateric cesign, so no glue was needed: ready
- body is still in progress: I will design steering and add cardboard layers for different components
ANYWAY, major components works, so this will be ready in 1-2 days.
