# FabAcademy - Resources
This repository is for curated resources and projects created by Fab Academy instructors/students around the world to support Fab Academy program. The resources hosted here complement the [tutorials](http://docs.academany.org/FabAcademy-Tutorials/_book/) with useful resources. For projects that are not aimed to support fab academy learning activities we recommend you to use other platforms:

## How do I contribute?
If you think you have a useful project or resource that your want to share and might be useful for completing the Fab Academy program, this is the place to host it! You can either host the contents or link to the source (example: an existing github repository). For contributing follow the following guideline:
1. Create a [github](https://github.com/) account if you don't have already one.
2. [Fork](https://help.github.com/articles/fork-a-repo/) the [FabAcademy-Resources repository](https://gitlab.fabcloud.org/pub/projects/tree/master)
3. Write your tutorial using [Markdown](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markdown). If it is your first time writing in Markdown follow [this tutorial](http://www.markdowntutorial.com/). Your can use any text editor like [Atom](https://atom.io/), [Sublime](http://www.sublimetext.com/), [Brackets](http://brackets.io/), or [Notepad++](https://notepad-plus-plus.org/)
4. Your project name must clarify the project purpose. Example: `newfabisp.md`
5. Edit the `SUMMARY.md` to link to your project
6. If you need to host images or files, create a new folder inside the `files` folder using the same name as the project (example `newfabisp`). Put your images and files inside it. Recommended images size is 800x600 pixels.
7. Once you are done. [Create a pull request](https://help.github.com/articles/creating-a-pull-request/) to have your project approved by the mighty instructors.
