What will it do?
- Explain a little bit more what the lamp will do, and how are you plannig to use in mobile Fab Lab.
- Use a phototransistor insted of photoresisor.
Who has done what beforehand?
- Could you find more examples of similar projects in Fab Academy previous years?
What will you design?
- How many PCBs are you going to design?
What materials and components will be used?
- You are missing the phototransistor. Remember to add later in the BOM the exact amount of material.
Where will they come from?
- Could you mention where did you buy the led strip?
How much will it cost?
- I think prices of headers are a little bit too much. OUt of 1 LED strip you can get multiple lamps, right? Rest is OK.
What parts and systems will be made?
- In this section we expect to see the system architecture.
- How are you planning to connect the two boards. Define it here and perhaps a sketch on where in your lamp are you placing the boards.
- Define the functionality of the LED control board and photoresistor board.
What processes will be used?
- You forget 2D and 3D design.
What questions need to be answered?
- OK
How will it be evaluated?
- Develop a little bit further which is going to be the metrics you are using the success of your project. Minimum requirements, size, whatever you consider is important to have in your project in order to be used. In your case, for instance, one possible metrics is price and amount of time to build one.
Other comments.
- Few typos:
- insted -> instead
- How adjust the brightness based on light sensor data. -> add a question mark at the end
