Interface and application programming feedback
Interface and Application programming
From the assessment:
-
Linked to the group assignment page -
Documented your process -
Explained the UI that you made and how you did it -
Outlined problems and how you fixed them -
Included original code (or a screenshot of the app code if that's not possible) -
Included a ‘hero shot/video’ of your application running with your board

Group work
Please, add more tools and environments. For instance, you have used processing. Present the Hello World also there. Make some sort of comparison.
Individual work
- When you say that you need ot setup
ControlP5 library
explain why you need to setup that library. What is the library is doing? Short description. - You say:
I used class Slider for this purpose. Added serial-library in advance as well.
For what purpose?
-
Explain a bit the Processing code and the ControlP5 code. What is the
setup()
doing, what is thedraw()
doing? Which is the code for the slider doing. -
Explain earlier that you are using Asynchronous serial communication to send data from the Temperature sensor to your computer.
-
Explain in more detail how you did the connection between Arduino, your sensor and the Processing code.
- Hardware -> physical connections -> cables -> include hte links you are using
- Software -> basically explain that you are using serial communication, present the lines of code that do the connection in Processing (Rx), the lines for rsending the data from Arduino (Tx).
- The comments in the code are quite clear so do not extend that much in explanations, just remark a few aspects in the text.
-
Explain what is your initial intention was. It is present the temperature in the slider, or do you want to change the color?
-
In order to change the value, my guess is that you should have declared the slider
Temp
a global variable (outside teh setup() function) and then write in thedraw()
, after theprintln
:
Temp.setValue(value)
-
The image with code after "lot of time searching I changed plan" does not have enough resolution. Cannot read the code. Please, include.
-
Add a link to meter-library, explain what is this library for. Present the code.
-
You should present your UI using your own board. Take one of the board you have used for input/output week or your final project, and use exactly the same code in your computer, to present other input. That should do it.
