My Flying Funeral: A House-Type Mortuary Hearse of Digital Age

The rapid growth of OPH(One Person Home) is changing a common concept of households of our society. A few days ago, I read an article about people preparing for their own funeral as there are no families or neighbors who will perform the service after their death. I often think about how technology can be applied to a society where there are many people living alone. How will the funeral culture change in the digital age for increasing single households? How will I prepare my own funeral?

The mortuary hearse of traditional korean funeral is composed of complex parts with various decorations. At least 8 to 14 people are required to carry the simplified version of the mortuary hearse:

The concept and shape of traditional mortuary hearse vary in different regions, but mainly there are two types: House & Palanquin.

These imaginary friends made of wood(木人) are mounted on a mortuary hearse. They have fixing peg. Basically their role is to guide the dead to afterlife and comfort the sadness of death. These wooden sculptures show a positive interpretation of the afterlife:
