In group work you only measured the analog level and not the digital signal at all. Basically, you have to connect the sensor to microcontroller, which transforms analog signal to digital and sends it to a serial reader with FTDI and measure that signal with oscilloscope. Aim is to understand a little bit about the analog to digital conversion.
