Described what you learned by testing the 3D printers (Identified the advantages and limitations of 3D printing) -
Outlined problems that you faced in 3D scanning and how you fixed them (Identified the advantages and limitations of 3D scanning)
Please Clarify the Followings for Your Group Work:
With that test design, you have examined some features such as Nut, Size, Wave, rounded print, Star, Sharp Edges, Name, Hole, Overhang, Spike, Wrap and etc. Therefore, you need to document your results considering the features that you have examined for each printer (Table format maybe? Check other group's documentations). And then for reflection, you need to reflect on the identified advantages and limitations of 3D printing based on your 3D printing attempts and considering different features in different results.
Please Clarify the Followings for 3D Printing:
-
For all of the steps of designing your 3D object, You need to name the tool that you have utilized. For example, I made a Circle using circle tool accessing from Sketch > Circle. -
You need to explain why your object cannot be made subtractively. -
You need to explain how you made your object using 3D printer. Which 3D printer did you use? What setting in the software/3D printer? -
You need to add .f3d files of your 3D designs as well. As mentioned previously several times, please keep in mind for all of your future assignments, that you always need to include native file from the software and universal compatible format . If the native file is very big it can be skipped it. -
Your "improved design for the wistle" .STL file, fails in downloading. Please identify the problem and upload it again.
Please Clarify the Followings for 3D Scanning:
-
The picture with the caption of "Fig.scaning process", is not visible. -
As mentioned several times before, you need to do other experiment(s) of 3D scanning that leads to a result that eventually the file could be included in your web-page. Please keep in mind that after a successful 3D scanning, you need to usually:1. edit the result and cut extra parts and close holes (if any),2. If the size is big, import it to Fusion, switch to mesh environment, modify and reduce the density,3. Document how you scanned it,4. Outline problems that you faced in 3D scanning and how you fixed them (Identified the advantages and limitations of 3D scanning)5. Include .STL file of the final result.
